In The Science of Bubbles, students explore chemistry and physics through hands-on experimentation and joyful play. Learners create and compare different bubble solution formulas, discovering how viscosity, elasticity, and “stickiness” affect bubble size, strength, and longevity. Students also design and test a variety of custom bubble apparatus, experimenting with shape, scale, and motion.
Through open-ended exploration, students learn that different solutions are needed for different purposes—giant bubbles, long-lasting bubbles, or delicate films—while developing curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of scientific inquiry.
